Trunk or Treat  (NO KONA ICE TODAY)

Friday, October 27th, 2023

If you're new to our Plato Trunk Or Treat event, here's the scoop: πŸŽƒ We gather in the parking lot to decorate our car trunks, hatchbacks, and truck beds for a spooktacular Halloween experience. Plus, we provide treats for all the little goblins and witches at Trunk Or Treat, making it a fantastic time for everyone! 🍬🍭

Keep in mind that you'll be providing candy for approximately 350 eager students. As it's usually pretty warm, and the event runs through lunch, feel free to bring a cooler stocked with cold drinks, lunch, and snacks. Since shade is limited, consider bringing a tent β˜‚οΈ to stay cool and expand your decorating space!

For those unable to attend but still eager to contribute, we gladly welcome candy donations at the front office! 🍫🍬

The first wave of little trick-or-treaters will kick off the fun at about 12:30 pm. We'll open the parking lot at 11:00 am for you to begin setting up. Please make sure you're here and fully set up in your designated spot NO LATER than 12:00 pm. To ensure student safety, we want to avoid any car movements during the event. A designated guide will be on hand to direct you to your approved spot, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. πŸš—πŸŽƒ

Exciting news for this year: We're introducing a contest for all our participating volunteers! πŸ† Judges will assess both your trunk decorations and costumes, and there will be a winner who'll receive a delightful basket filled with goodies! 🎁✨

Please see the SignUp Genius below for more details or check out the Plato Academy Largo PTO Facebook page. πŸ•ΈοΈπŸ‘»πŸŽ‰

Holiday door decorating

TBA Thanksgiving break (November 26?)

We are looking for multiple volunteers to sneak in over the weekend or during Thanksgiving break and add some creative touches to the hallways. We have many doors and seek multiple volunteers to fill our halls with cheer.  The children love coming in and seeing all of the wonderful decoration. We would especially love some help in the middle school area since they do not as many holiday crafts
